This week I wanted to do something a little out of my comfort zone. I saw a picture online of an island cake that used jello as water. I tried and failed miserably. I made it a bit better afterwards but it was still pretty bad. I call this my second failed attempt.

I feel that I wasn’t properly educated or prepared to do this, making it difficult to succeed. It also didn’t taste great because some of the jello absorbed into the cake so all together I just think it was a bad experience. I will probably not be working with jello again in the future, but if I do I know that I have to have the right materials and instructions.
